Michael Burroughs Associates is a young, dynamic and ambitious firm that combines enthusiasm with experience. It employs 13 people, 7 are qualified town-planners and 3 are RTPI chartered planning consultants.

- Michael Burroughs BA MRTPI FRSA
- Michael Burroughs is the principal planning consultant of Michael Burroughs Associates and is directly responsible for management of the company. He is a renowned and respected practitioner with wide experience in planning and development throughout GB and Northern Ireland. He has represented most of the major NI developers in planning appeals over the last 20 years and has been extensively involved in all major Area Plan Inquiries during this time. He has a particular interest in Judicial Review.
- Diana Thompson BSc (Hons) Dip TP MRTPI
- Diana Thompson has been a planning consultant with the firm for seven years. She heads up the Company’s expanding licensing practice and has given evidence to the Courts on many occasions and is retained by Lidl and ASDA. She has gained experience in handling major projects including a large housing, retail and regeneration schemes across Northern Ireland. Most recently she has been involved in the BMAP Public Inquiry where she acted for a range of developers and landowners.
